A partnership between New Zealand creatives Leah Forsyth-Steel and Victoria Spicer, Monument is a collection of curated furniture and art-led items.

Since its inception in 2020, the Monument design practice has expanded to offer full-service sourcing, curating, and styling. Leah and Victoria have remained true to this mindset while establishing their distinct Monument aesthetic. They are committed to celebrating and elevating works that have lived a life and withstood the pressures of time, use and trends. A bold, postmodern chair sitting with a stone abstract sculpture – the curation encourages the viewer to see pieces outside of a traditional context.

The value of purposefully building a collection and investing in unique pieces is at the core of the Monument approach. They are interested in the dialogue around permanent collections, that one should acquire items with thought, intention and longevity in mind.
